Soft Table Setting Colours
Flowers in recycled glass jars have to be one of the easiest and cheapest ways to add flair to your set table ...so next time you empty that pasta sauce think before you throw that jar away....gorgeous!!

and i do love the simple table place setting below - neutral napkins with a single fresh flower - paper or fabric flowers would be beautiful too!

Bairro Portugues

Last weekend we headed on down to Petersham, Sydney's own 'Little Portugal', for their annual food & wine fair.

The sun was shining and it was such a great turnout - people everywhere!

Delicious food, folk dancing, sweet treats...

Lunch was grilled sardines served with garlic peppers on rustic corn bread....can i just say 'Yum'..

we also treated ourselves to sweet custard tarts and doughnuts - perfect with a strong coffee!

here are some of our favourite places to eat in Petersham

' Silva's' - both a busy take away and sit down restaurant - great food everytime!

'Gloria Cafe' - serving home style Portuguese meals for over 20 years....for sweets head on over to 'Honeymoon Patisserie'

- yummy baked goods, the custard tarts are amazing!!

and

'Sweet Belem Cake Boutique' across the street is delicious too!!! worth checking out next time you're in Sydney.

Crafty

I havn't been done much paper crafting lately... I think I'll blame distractions (Pinterest, reality TV...) but there's also a crafty mess happening in my home right now.

Ive moved all my papers and 'stuff' into a new room and they've been in neat (ha!) piles waiting patiently for me to pack away...everything is everywhere! where did all this 'stuff' come from??

I think I need a professional organiser - now that would be super!

I also managed to get sick this week - i'm so run down, sleeping late and absolutely lifeless...

i've been craving sweets and baked goods and I have no idea what my body is trying to say to me?!

Tomorrow, I plan to make a batch of vegetable soup - i need some nourishment!

Im home today and Ive been sorting out, organizing and de-cluttering the house as well as my usual housechores - what fun! what fun!

Taking a little break to check my emails and blog - Im going to try and update my blog a little more often...so much inspiration to share!
